Paediatric First Aid

What is it?

The EFR-Solutions Paediatric course is firmly aimed at the child care professionals meeting Ofsted requirements for this type of course. The course covers all the aspects of Primary and Secondary care for children and infants with the scenarios that the child care professional might encounter.

What do you do?

During this course participants will learn all the skills found in the adult versions of Primary and Secondary care course, with modifications specifically for child physiology. The course is also extended to cover specific needs for a child care environment, after completion participants have the equivalent of an HSE appointed person.

How long does it last?

The Paediatric First Aid course run over a minimum of 12 hours, typically split over 2 daily sessions, however a schedule can be tailored to individual organisational needs.

How much does it cost?

The Paediatric First Aid course costs £65 per participants, however discounts are available for larger groups.

What other requirements are there?

The Course is open to participants of all ages and abilities

What do I need to bring?

All training materials are supplied, however relaxed clothing is advised as a level of physical role play is expected.
